We believe all children can embrace who they are, can define their future, and can change the world.
Our Mission
At Abilasha, we empower underprivileged students in India through the transformative power of art, cultivating creativity, confidence, and ambition. We teach young minds the craft of working with clay, turning their hands into tools of self-expression and hope. By auctioning their artworks, we transform their stories into opportunities, giving these children a sense of pride, purpose, and the belief that their talents hold value in the world.

Our Vision
How Abilasha gives children ambition:
Abilasha instills ambition in children by showing them the potential of their creativity. Many of these children come from communities where opportunities are limited, and their futures are often predetermined by their socio-economic circumstances. Through clay art workshops, we provide a platform for self-expression, helping them unlock their creativity. Each child learns that their voice matters, that they are capable of achieving greatness through their skills, and that their art can make a meaningful impact. This empowerment extends beyond art: it gives them the drive to pursue education, overcome barriers, and aspire for a better future.
Statement from Samaira Sahni (Founder)
Hi! I’m Samaira Sahni, a high school student who turned my love for ceramics into a platform for change. I founded Abilasha — meaning “ambition” in Punjabi — after traveling to Punjab to teach art in local schools. I saw how creating something with your own hands can build confidence and spark dreams, especially for young girls. My ceramic work, often figurative and symbolic, explores resilience, fragility, and the human experience — the same themes that drive Abilasha’s mission to inspire ambition through art.
